It is with great pleasure that we announce information about the Technical Program for the IDA World Congress 2017 on Desalination and Water Reuse, which will be held in São Paulo, Brazil at the Sheraton World Trade Center, São Paulo.
The Theme of this World Congress is Ensure Your Water Future and will feature four days of technical sessions, lectures, roundtable discussions, workshops and will include a new feature: an interactive plenary session that will be in an open forum format on the last day.
This Technical Program theme is vital to the discussions already taking place surrounding the growing demand for a sustainable source of fresh water in response to population growth, economic expansion, degradation of existing resources and the effects of climate change. This program will bring together leading experts from government, academia, and industry to share valuable knowledge, experiences and views; and provide unparalleled opportunities for cross-collaboration between these sectors to resolve the challenges of desalination and advance its adoption around the world.
The Congress Technical Program will be co-chaired by Mr. Miguel Angel Sanz, Mr. Guillaume Clairet, Mr. Juan Miguel Pinto, and Mr. Renato Giani Ramos, who are highly respected authorities in desalination.
