IDRA World Congress 2024 – Experience the Spotlight on the Thematic Program

What will the Program consist of?

This comprehensive program features contributions from over 400+ experts representing more than 150 leading public and private organizations and universities. 

Over four transformative days, participants can delve into Ten Essential Technical Topics through sessions organized into four parallel tracks, covering fifty-eight subtopics. 

The Thematic Program will consist of over thirty five panels. 


Panel Spotlights 

Addressing Water Scarcity: Sustainable Project Models, Finance, and Regulations for Public and Private 

The panel will discuss how public and private utilities can collaboratively address water scarcity through sustainable project models, effective financing strategies, and supportive regulatory environments. 

This panel will provide valuable insights for utilities aiming to enhance their water stewardship and contribute to a more water-secure future. 


This session will draw on the outgoing and incoming Young Leaders co-chairs to highlight the best of desalination’s past and present, as well as hopes for the future, by drawing on specific desalination projects that hold special significance, either to them individually or to the desalination industry. 

This session will illuminate ground-breaking treatment projects and introduce the new intake of IDRA YLP co-chairs to the industry in Abu Dhabi.
