Convention Centre

The main entrance to the Convention Centre can be found at the northern end of ICC Sydney, closest to Cockle Bay (Darling Harbour) and Harbourside Shopping Centre. The closest drop off and taxi zone address is Iron Wharf Place. The closest light rail stop is Convention stop, and the closest train station is Town Hall.

Located within the Convention Centre you will find:

  • Grand Ballroom
  • Parkside Ballroom
  • Darling Harbour Theatre
  • Pyrmont Theatre
  • Meeting rooms including Cockle Bay rooms
  • The Gallery
  • Convention Cafe
  • Customer Service and Information Desk
  • Cloaking and luggage storage
  • First Aid medical room, ATM, mobile charging stations
  • Speakers Preparation and Business Centre
  • Parenting rooms and accessibility bathrooms

Exhibition Centre

Exhibition Centre is located between Convention Centre and Aware Super Theatre (formerly First State Super Theatre). There are two entrances to the Exhibition Centre. The main entrance is located closest to the Convention Centre followed by a second entrance is via escalators or lifts closest to Aware Super Theatre and Moriarty Walk. Exhibition Centre is walking distance from both Town Hall and Central Station. The closest light rail stops are Exhibition stop and Convention stop.

Located within the Exhibition Centre you will find:

  • Lower Exhibition Halls 1 – 4
  • Upper Exhibition Halls 5 – 7
  • Exhibition meeting pods and organiser rooms
  • Event Deck
  • Exhibitor Service and Information Desk
  • Cloaking and luggage storage (subject to events)
  • First Aid medical room, ATM, mobile charging stations
  • Parenting rooms and accessibility bathrooms
  • Prayer rooms (male and female)

Ticketing / Registration

Registration to take place at Hall 6 Registration. Registration pre-event closes on 6 October, https://wc.idadesal.org/registration/.

Entry / Exit

Opening Ceremony and Gala Dinner will be at the Convention Centre – entry and exit will be via the Ceremonial Entrance on Iron Wharf Place, opposite the Sofitel, via the southern entry near the Planar Café or via the north eastern doors.

Technical Program, Outback Discussions, Exhibition, Lunches and Coffee Breaks are located in Hall 5-6 Exhibition Centre – entry and exit will be via the Northern and Southern doors.

Leaders Summit by special registration only is located on Level 5, Hall 5, Room E5.2 & 3.
